Easter Time

As Easter returns for another year I reflect on how much it has changed in our household.

For the first few years it was all about the Easter Bunny for our Daughter. As the years have passed the Easter Bunny has become less important and the real meaning of Easter has become the most important thing for her.

This year she actually went to the store with me ( early ) and bought her own candy saying we could better deal than the Easter Bunny ( loved that ) and to leave the egg hiding for him to do.

This Sunday she will be participating in the Children's Choir singing a song dedicated to Christ's Resurrection and she is so excited.

I have to admit that I am so proud that she knows the real meaning of Easter as well as Christmas. I see so many families that the true meaning has been lost on them. Thank you God for your guidance, we surely didn't do it all on our own.

That said we have created the perfect balance. She knows the real meaning but still believes in the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. Striking the perfect balance between fact and fiction.

Happy Easter everyone and God Bless.
