Water Parks and New Friends

The last couple days have been full of fun and adventure for Chandler.

She made two new friends that have moved into the neighbourhood. They are two doors down from us and her age. She is more than thrilled. They spent the other day out in the hot weather for 5 hours and then I had to call it quits. They would have played far into the night otherwise.

Then yesterday Chandler went with her Sister Tara for the first time and played at the water park with her Niece Jaime. She had a great time and they plan on going to a place called Crash Crawly’s sometime next week. This was her first outing where Tara actually came and picked her up and went without me. I have to admit it was easier on her than it was on me. I was lost without having her underfoot.

I’m glad she had a good time and that her Sister is finally taking her places instead of leaving her home to hear about it later. Things are looking up.

Now, I just have to find things to do when Chandler isn’t here. I guess there’s always lesson plans and Facebook.
