We have a family member that has decided on their own to change long standing rituals that our family has established and in doing so refuses to participate. This has hurt the family and especially our youngest since she just doesn't seem to understand why.
I'm at a loss as to repair the damage that has been done or even where to start. My Husband says to give it time and things will work out but, I'm a fixer at heart but, since this person doesn't even consider me family it makes it even harder to try and help fix it.
It's time to leave it in God's hands and see if he can make sense if this and make it right.
