Start Date July 13th

We have decided that next Monday July 13th will begin "Grade Three" for us.

We have been enjoying the summer sun and fun but, want to get back to it. We of course continue to learn even when we are on "vacation" but sometimes we need the daily routine to stay on track. We have added Canadian History, Canadian Geography, Latin and a more formal approach to Science to our routine this year.

As I have said time and time again I hate the Homeschooler tag. We are more Home Learners. Homeschooler says schooling at home but, following the same routine as a public school. We definitely don't fit that mold. We are free thinkers and do what we want when we want and it works for us.

Our Daughter has learned more in her scant 7 years than some adults have in their entire life and did it on her own in her own time and never has she felt she is being "taught ". I myself became self taught from the age of 14. I graduated at the age of 16 and had my first degree by the age of 20. Public School stunts a child's potential.
