Let's see, Valentine's Day is just around the corner and the activity around here has been busy. Chandler has made Valentine's for all the family members and had a wonderful Valentine's Day party at Sunday School.
The trick now is going to be hunting down the people the Valentine's are meant for. Most are pretty easy but, getting one to our oldest Daughter will be a trick because we don't see her all that often. I guess it can wait until she comes over even if it's months from now.
Chandler had a presentation in front of the Church where she sang " Jesus in my Life " with all the other Sunday Schooler's and then handed out candy to the parishioners. She had a great time. The party afterward was fun too because she got to put on a skit for the preschool group, she did really well. We got to bring home a foam heart she made during the craft portion of the party as well. That goes in the keepsake box the day after Valentine's.
We are getting ready to do a unit study on Valentine's Day tomorrow and then units on St. Patrick's Day and Easter. We love unit studies !
