We are setting up our social calendar for the next few months. Spring is round the corner and that means doing things away from the homestead.
We have joined a couple of support groups and have our first meeting next week where we get to meet homeschoolers in our around. We received a directory last week and I was shocked to see how many homeschoolers my daughters age are practically in our back yard ! We're going to have to get to know these people and hopefully set up some field trips etc....
I have also registered our daughter for a little artists class from 10:00 to 11:00 in April where she can get to know more homeschoolers and have a great time. Also in April she will be attending a half day school once a week for 4 weeks where she is going to learn about the human body and socialize with other homeschoolers. The 2 classes look like alot of fun for her and she's excited about attending them. She's a little apprehensive about going to a class where mum isn't the teacher and may actually leave her there and come back at the end of the session. It's still undecided whether I'll stay close or venture off on my own.
Soooo, between these classes, the support groups and Sunday School she should be quite busy ( me too ).
