Changes

We have made the decision to remove ourselves from the Distance Learning program that we have been trying to use the past 2 years and return to our roots as a homeschool family doing it on own our.

This decision has been a good one for us. When our Daughter was in Kindergarten we did it ourselves and loved it. We attempted to do it with the help of certified teachers and found that the fit just wasn't there. We were so used to doing things our way and doing it when we wanted to that we were feeling the stress to be perfect.

No family ( public or homeschooled ) is perfect and since we decided to return to our way of doing things everything has fallen into place. Our Daughter enjoys learning again and having a stress free Mum teaching her has made all the difference in the world to the whole family.

No more Distance Learning programs for us. We're sticking to natural stress free and fun learning. We're back to learning alot more now.

We've registered her with a local registry where she can participate in local activities and have fun with other homeschooled children living nearby. It's great. The way it was before, the school was too far away and she couldn't join in the activities. Now her social life will kick into even higher gear than it was before. This is fantastic. I feel like a true homeschooler again.
