Well, we are into our fourth week of Homeschooling the second grade level and I've already seen flaws in the wonderful schedule I worked so hard on this Summer. The schedule was perfect but some of the curriculum choices stunk.
So... what did I do ? I searched books etc.... and have ordered curriculum more to our liking instead of what I thought the world wanted us to do. I have returned to unit studies, webquests and down to earth workbooks for special subjects and of course our favourite Lapbooking.
I think we're going to be alot happier going back to our roots and no more doing what we think others think we should.
Freedom at least !
